Festival 2018 - summary of events

Festival is open to the public on
Saturday 2 pm - 5 pm & for half an hour after the Vigil Mass;
Sunday from 1 pm - 5 pm & for half an hour after the evening Mass;
weekdays from 1 pm - 5 pm & from 6.30 pm until the end of the evening event.

7.30 pm THE GREAT WAR 1918: BILL BRIERLEY
using contemporary newspaper reports, military records and War Diaries, tells the story of the
War in 1918 as it affected the people of Bamber Bridge:
 the men who fought and their families back home.

7.30 pm SEARCHING FOR MATTHEW
A one act play telling the story of a Bamber Bridge girl who went twice to France
searching for the grave of her brother killed in the Great War.
Thursday 10th May
2 pm The brass band pand choir of the childen of Walton-le-Dale Primary School
7.30 pm ECUMENICAL SONGS OF PRAISE
Friday 11th May  
7.30 pm THE COMPANY OF VOYCES presents songs from the decade of the Great War

Please note that the exhibitions cannot be viewed during the Sunday afternoon and weekday evening events.
