Festival 2017 - summary of events

Festival opens to the public on
Saturday 2 pm - 5 pm & for half an hour after the Vigil Mass;
Sunday from 1 pm - 5 pm & for half an hour after the evening Mass;
weekdays from 1 pm - 5 pm & from 6.30 pm until the end of the evening event.

Saturday 29th April - 2.30 PM OFFICIAL OPENING and presentation of awards by
The Mayor of South Ribble, Cllr Linda Woollard
Sun 30th April 3.0 pm BLACKPOOL BRASS BAND
Mon 1st May  2.30 pm  THE ART OF QUILTING  a presentation by Mrs Pauline Graves.
                       7.30 pm FR COLIN & FRIENDS: piano, organ and voice
Tue 2nd May  7.30 pm BRIGGERS & THE GREAT WAR 1917 Using contemporary newspaper reports, military records and War Diaries, BILL BRIERLEY tells the story of the War in 1917 as it affected the people of Bamber Bridge: the men who fought and their families back home.
Wed 3rd May 2 pm a pesentation by the childen of St Mary's & St Benedict's Primary School
                       7.30 pm THE LIDUN CHOIR of Lytham-St Annes includes Fauré's Requiem
Thu 4th May 2 pm a pesentation by the childen of Walton-le-Dale Primary School
                      7.30 pm ECUMENICAL OF WAR DEAD COMMEMORATION
Fri 5th May   7.30 pm BLACKBURN PEOPLE'S CHOIR something for everyone

Please note that the exhibitions cannot be viewed during the Sunday afternoon and weekday evening events.
